I don't do well talking about myself in a public forum. I'd rather cut a dark broading and very wise figure instead. Now one on one and I will talk your ear off about me. You think I'm kidding? Do you remember the line in Beaches by Bette Midler. "Let's talk about you. What do you think about me?" It's my absolute favorite line and the only line I can ever remember. Memory not so good. What was I talking about?
Anyway my obsessions include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Xena: Warrior Princess and photography. I am also a writer in my own mind. I have written 3 original short stories (Straight For the Holidays, Cock-A-Doodle Day and Leap of Faith and 3 Xena fan fiction stories (Waking Up With the Conqueror, Gabrielle's Destiny and One In a Billion). Right now I'm very proud of the photos I have taken in the past year. They include hundreds of photos of my pets (No yawning as some of the photos are rather exceptional and cute.)photos of the Xena convention in Burbank 2007 as well as concert photos of Lucy Lawless at the Roxy in 07 and 08 and I am very proud of some photos I took of a fire that happened near my house. The house was burned to the ground and one cat died in the fire, however, no humans were injured and all of the horses in the back stables were rescued, otherwise I probably would not post the photos.
I honestly don't know what I want from LiveJournal or what I am going to write about. I do know that I have some friends here in the community, wanted to see what it was all about and liked what I saw. But I am hoping that by being here it will rekindle my interest in writing.
